DHL made a strategic decision to bring a new vendor onboard. The vendor lacked understanding of DHL specifications led to an unsatisfactory installation that prevented DHL from utilizing the system per the contracted Go Live date.


DHL contacted CIAI and requested we mobilize to bring the installation up to specifications and bring the system up to code. CIAI was able to mobilize a team which ultimately consisted of (4) mechanical installer, (4) electrical installers and (2) programmers two days after the request was issued. A majority of controls devices were replaced, all conveyor units were completely reworked mechanically and the program rewritten to meet the customers specification. Complete optimization of the system was accomplished within schedule requirements.
